This one was a struggle! It's deceptively simple, but Vermeer got it so perfect that any change is super noticeable. I, a mere mortal, redid the angle of the face and neck so many times, trying to get it right, before I got to something "good enough" and called it a day. Looking back, it probably took me 45 minutes instead of 20, which now seems like a laughable amount of time to spend on something before getting frustrated.
Toward the end of the project, I redid old entries to compare progress and give the original artworks their proper due. You can see my redo of Girl with a Pearl Earring at entry 98.
